PISA 2025 — Performance Trends

Dots are the observed mean score at each PISA cycle; the line joins them. “Trend per decade” is the average decennial trend published by the OECD in the same tables: the average change in score points over ten years, estimated across every cycle the country took part in. Bold values are statistically significant (p < 0.05). Up to PISA 2022 the OECD also published a fitted trend curve cycle by cycle; the 2025 report replaced it with this single coefficient, so the dashed curve of the earlier version of this page is gone.
